House, formerly farmhouse. Late C17 or early C18. Hammer-dressed red sandstone, graduated green slate roof with coped gables and kneelers, end stone chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. C20 projecting porch of red sandstone and slate roof, at extreme left, covers original entrance. Small square chamfered surround windows have replacement 3-pane sashes; small C20 bathroom window to upper floor left. Single storey extension to rear is late C18, with C20 side porch. Adjoining barn and outbuildings to left now form part of a separate property and are not included in listing.
