Lodge. Dated 1850. Watershot masonry, stone dressings, hexagonal stone slates to roof. T-shaped plan. Two storeys, three bays comprising right-hand wing of two bays and projecting left-hand gabled bay. Right-hand wing has left-hand entrance, plain lintel and four-panel door. Right hand ground floor two-light flat faced mullioned window with five-pane metal fixed lights and casements. Timber and stone slate verandah. Two upper floor windows: left-hand two-light flat faced mullioned with four-pane metal fixed lights and casements and right-hand half dormer in similar but with imitation Y tracery. Between the two upper floor windows is a datestone inscribed: Y RF with hoodmould. Left-hand projecting bay has ground-floor bay window of four-lights with flat faced mullions and six-pane metal casements and fixed lights with margin pane glazing; hipped slate roof. Upper floor narrow three-light flat faced mullioned windows with five-pane metal casements and fixed lights, and small central three-pane fixed light above. Exposed purlins to overhanging gable. Tall left-hand projecting eaves stack, right-hand gable end ridge stack. Late C19 continuous outshut at rear.
