Description


BAINBRIDGE A 684 SD 98 NE (north side) Worton 14/53 Manor House and railings GV II House and railings. Dated 1781. Coursed rubble, stone slate roof, cast- iron railings. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Quoins. Central C20 glazed door in ashlar surround with cyma recta cornice. 4-pane sash windows with deep sandstone sills and lintels. End stacks. On right return, lead rainwater " E " head cast with legend G M . In front of house, ashlar saddleback coping 1781 with railings with fleurs-de-lis finials.
