Farmhouse. Early C17 origin, datestone of 1620 found in yard, dated 1678/WKI in south east gable and 1838 on front; later alterations. Limestone and sandstone random rubble with pronounced quoins, stone dressings, concrete tiled roof with double Roman tiles to sides, stack with diagonal chimneys and gable stack to left, front gables have decorative bargeboards and finials. L-plan with central entrance passage and stair lobby. 2½ storeys, 3 windows, 2 large gables rising to ridge height; ground floor has to left a 4-light casement with ovolo mullions, leaded lights and decorative catches, central gabled porch with depressed 4-centred arched chamfered opening, slit to each side, C19 inner door in similar surround; 1st floor has from left, 4-light casement with chamfered wooden mullions, moulded surround and leaded lights, 2-light casement with ovolo mullion and iron stanchion and similar 2-light casement with leaded lights; left gable has C20 casement; all windows have drip mould and sandstone relieving arch, single storey lean-to to left. Right return has 2 windows, all 3-light casements with ovolo mullions, leaded lights to 1st floor left, 1st floor right has C19 3-light window of plate glass sashes, fixed light in gable of 8 panes with iron stanchions and moulded frame, 1st floor attic windows have relieving arch, all except 1st floor right have drip mould. Rear has gable to right with C20 window, plank door in plain frame in lean-to with C20 windows. Interior: not inspected.
