Detached cottage, with attached outhouse - now incorporated in the cottage. Probably late C18. Original cottage has brick walls, thatched roof, brick end stack. Outhouse has cob walls on brick base, thatched roof, brick end stack. One storey and attic. Cottage has C20 ledged door in gabled tiled porch. Ground floor has one metal window. Attic has 2 ½-dormers with casements. Outhouse has one metal and one fixed leaded window. Single-storey garage extension on south and C20 single-storey rear extension. Main ground floor room has large open fireplace with timber lintol - altered. Some exposed ceiling beams. The outhouse was reputedly the laundry for Bloxworth House (q.v.). RCHM Monument 20.
