Description

SP 9632-9732 EVERSHOLT POTTER'S END 10/51 - Potter's End Farmhouse - II House. Circa 1700 with C19 reworkings. Timber framed construction, with red brick infill to rear and side elevations and colourwashed brick casing to front elevation. C20 tile roof. 4-room plan (W bay a C19 addition), gable end to road, with gable projecting from centre of S elevation. One storey and attics. N elevation: ground floor has 5 2-light casement windows under gauged brick flat arches. Attic has 3 gabled dormers with 2-light casements. Plank door within gabled brick porch with semi-circular archway. Brick band at first floor level extends across 3 original LH bays. Red brick multiple ridge stack just off line with doorway. Red brick integral stack to E gable end. Single-storeyed brick outbuilding projects from W end of S elevation.
