2. Mid C15 or earlier open hall house, with crosswings, altered in C16 and C17. Timber framed and plastered with red plain tile hipped roof. 2 storeys. Crosswings originally jettied and gabled, now underbuilt and hipped. 3 window range C18, double hung, vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars, and modern casements, with leaded lights. C16 red brick chimney stack partly rebuilt at top. Small modern gabled porch, in painted brick, with red plain tile roof. Modern panelled pargetting. C17 extension at rear, and C18 brewhouse, now part of house. Internally the original and C16 framing survives, including some doors. (RCHM 32).
