House. C16 with C17 and later additions and alterations. Timber framed and weatherboarded. Double range red plain tiled roofs. Central and rear red brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys. Three 3 light casements to first floor, right and left tripartite vertically sliding sashes to ground floor. Central vertically boarded door, moulded surround, moulded flat canopy. Interior features to front range include C15/C16 exposed heavy timber frame with moulded and stop chamfered bridging joists. Some C16 panelling with upper part of a fluted pilaster, the capital carved 1525. Carved jowled storey post. Blue painted inscriptions on landing ceiling F?E?B & Eb in coloured frames and FC 184 without frame. Back to back inglenook fireplace. Original rear left wing with heavy chamfered bridging joists. C17 rear right range. Some C18 panelled doors with L hinges and some vertically boarded doors. Moated Site. RCHM 2.
