Row of cottages. C18. Timber framed, some rough rendering mainly weatherboarded. Red plain tiled roof, gambrelled of 2 levels to left and centre, plain lower level to right. 1:3:0 red brick chimney stacks visible from road. Left and centre ranges of one storey and attics with 3:4 catslide dormers. 2 storeys to right range. 4:4:2 various window range, some with pentice boards over. 2:3:1 doors, mainly C20, Nos. 4 and 5 vertically boarded, no. 6 with C20 porch. No. 6 originally a harness makers, some pegs and hooks remain. Sometimes called Caidge Row.
