House. Early C19 for Brocklesby Estate; C20 alterations and additions to rear. Yellow brick in Flemish bond; rendered to left return. Pantile roof. Main section L-shaped on plan: 2-room central entrance hall front with later additions in angle and to rear. 2 storeys, 3 bays; symmetrical. Doorcase with beaded pilasters and frieze, and reeded brackets supporting cornice and hood. 6-beaded-panel door under reeded cornice and overlight with decorative glazing bars and urn motifs in panelled reveal. C20 16-pane imitation sashes in flush wooden architraves with rubbed brick flat arches and projecting stucco cills. Wooden modillioned eaves cornice. Hipped roof. End stacks. Right return has C20 French window and 4 windows similar to front. Interior: segmental tunnel-vaulted entrance hall with reeded dado rail, moulded plaster cornice and pilaster arch to stairhall; open well staircase with swept handrail and fluted balusters; arched alcoves flanking chimney to ground floor left; reeded dado rails, moulded cornices, beaded- panel doors and window shutters in architraves to main rooms.
