Description


LOWER HOLKER MAIN STREET SD 3675 (South side) Flookburgh 10/152 Nos.49 and 51 (Rock Cottage), and surgery G.V. II Workshop, house and surgery. Probably early C18. Roughcast stone with slate roof. No.49 probably originally 3-bay barn, has barn entrance with paired doors and dripcourse, to right a casement window with door, welsh slate roof. No.51 has sashed windows with single glazing bars and horns, those to 1st floor with gablets, but that to 1st bay of ground floor is small window with small-paned glazing; gable-end stack. Surgery has window with small-paned pivoted casement; return has large small-paned pivoted casement lighting both floors, and entrance.
