3/79 Dovecot about 30 yards north-north-east of Pencoyd Court together with adjoining walls to west, east and south
GV II Dovecot. Probably early C19. Sandstone rubble and sandstone dressings, pyramidical slate roof with louvred glover and curved hipped lead capping. Square plan. South elevation has first floor opening with 2-centred head to right of centre beneath which is a segmentally-headed doorway.. Adjoining walls, 12 feet high, extend from back wall of dovecot about 20 yards to east and west, are of sandstone rubble with pantiled capping and form southern boundary of the Church of St Dennis (qv). A third wall extends southwards for about 12 yards from the dovecot towards Pencoyd Court (qv); is about the same height as the two more northerly walls but has a flat sandstone coping and an entrance near its southern end.
