Flats, former house. C17 or earlier, 2 storeys and timber framed and plastered. 'H' plan form with gabled, flush faced, crosswing at E and W ends all in clay peg tiles. Half-hipped extension block of 2 storeys at E end, with craft shop on ground floor. At rear of W end is a 2 storey gabled peg tile roofed block with large, gabled, dormer facing NW, double hung sashes and peg tile lean-to. Front has, on each crosswing, a double hung sash with moulded surround and small panes over tripartite vesions of the same. In the centre, the first floor has 2 double hung sashes with moulded surrounds and small panes. The ground floor has grand c.1840 door surround with cornice hood on big scroll brackets, with contemporary cast iron hood scraper either side and door with one glazed panel over 2 tall vertical panels and lions head knocker. Canted bay window with flat top and double hung sashes with small panes and margin lights. E end of block has one double hung sash with small panes on each floor. Interior has doors and cornices of high quality 1840's style.
