BEAULIEU GINS LANE SZ 49 NW 15/6 Gins Farmhouse GV II Farmhouse, now house. Circa 1700, altered C18 or C19, possibly on site of earlier building. Rubble stone with brick dressing, brick additions some tilehanging, old plain tile roof. 2 storey, L-shaped building of 3 bay range with slightly lower ridged 2 bay wing with 2 bay C18 addition. Entrance front is inside of L. The main range projects forward to RH end of other wing. On junction early C19 square-plan 2 storey battlemented porch with panelled door to front and tall windows on 1st floor. To LH in 2nd bay of LH wing is gabled porch with glazed door. Beside 3-light casement in brick frame. 2-light casement in C18 LH bays. On 1st floor blocked brick opening against corner porch and 2-light casements in other bays. RH projecting part has 3-light casements in brick frame. Brick lean-to on end. Ridge stacks either end of other range, and over front bay of projecting part.
