Farmhouse. C17, altered and extended late C18-early C19 with later C19 extension. Square-panelled timber framing with some curved decorative bracing and painted brick infill. Later extensions painted brick. Slate and red tile roofing. Brick stacks. 'L'- shaped plan to main body with extensions rear left and at right gable end. C19 extension to forward facing gable end of the latter. Roadside front; gable of C17 range projects forward on left with 16-pane early C19 sashes to first and ground floors. Pendant from apex of gable. Later lean-to to right of gable. Twin gables to C17 range set back on right (one now partly rebuilt) and painted to imitate timber-framing. C19 plank door to right-hand gable. Both gables lit by C20 two and three-light wooden casements. Gable of C19 dairy projects forward right; 1½ storeys with 2-light casement within a segmental surround to first floor and an open-sided lean-to to left. Left-hand return of C17 range now forms entrance front with central timber-framed gable (partly rebuilt and painted to imitate timber-framing). 1½ storey late C18 painted brick extension to left of gable with two 16-pane sashes to ground floor. Six-panel door (2 upper panels now glazed) with semi-circular fanlight and open triangular pediment on fluted pilasters set back with a panelled rebate to timber-framed gable. Brick dentil cornice to late C18-early C19 extensions. Large stone Tudor-arched fireplace (now painted) with moulded stops and moulded cornice. Flat-chamfered beams with double diamond stops. Late C18-early C19 staircase with stick balusters and wreathed handrail. C18 fireplace with fluted surround in room with ceiling height corner cupboard of the same period.
