Former farmhouse, dated 1638 on stack. Square panelled timber framing with rendered infill; coursed squared and dressed limestone; stone slate roof; ashlar stack. C20 roughly coursed squared and dressed limestone. 'L'-shaped plan. Entrance front with timber framed and painted brick gable projecting forwards to the left; 3-light C20 casement with diamond-shaped leaded panes; and single-light casement with a part-glazed door to the ground floor. Stone-built range runs away to right with 3-light stone- mullioned casement with hood to the ground floor; two 2-light timber-framed eaves dormers with C20 two-light casements at eaves, above band of panel framing C20 part-glazed door within a moulded 3-centred arched surround with enriched spandrels to the right of the projecting gable. West-facing gable end: 2-light double- chamfered stone-mullioned casement with stopped hood; 2-light wood casement with a concrete lintel and small single-light above. Roadside front: 4-light stone-mullioned casement with king mullion and stopped hood and single-light casement with glazing bars. Timber-framed wall projects forwards to the right with C20 glass doors and a 2-light C20 steel casement, both with diamond leaded panes, to the west side. Stone-built gable end with C20 three- light stone-mullioned casement and stopped hood; 2-light stone- mullioned casement above. C20 two-light casement; 2-light eaves dormer and C20 three-light flat-roofed dormer to the east front. Gable-end and off-the-ridge stack. Interior not inspected.
