Shown on OS map as Atlantis Hotel. Former vicarage, now detached house. Dated 1843 but incorporating early C19 house. - Ashlar limestone; artificial stone rebuilt chimneys; Welsh slate roof. Two-storey with attic. West front: asymmetrical with 3-storey Italianate tower roughly central. Round arched doorway to porch in tower; 2-light middle floor, and 3- light upper floor windows, each with round arched lights, middle floor having sashes with marginal glazing bars. Modillion eaves to low-pitched pyramidal tower roof; spike finial. Low-pitched gable end to right, central projecting chimney incorporating large datestone. Earlier masonry to left of tower, remodelled with 3- window sash fenestration, mostly 12-pane; 2 upper floor 6-pane sashes in eaves-level dormers. East (garden) side: parallel rear range has mixed sash fenestration, 2 large 12-pane sashes to ground floor with tripartite sash to right; four smaller 12-pane upper floor sashes. Projecting chimney stacks to gable ends. Some C20 additions to right are not of special interest. Interior not inspected. Built as vicarage for the newly-created Brimscombe parish.
