Detached house. C15 with early C16 addition; C19 alterations. Timber framed; some brick refacing; brick chimney; thatched roof. Single-storey with attic; 3-bay. East side: large framing with large curved brace at right end; scattered framed up casements; off-centre plank door to left; small-paned glazed C20 door to right; 3 thatched dormers with small-paned casements; scalloped ridge decoration to thatch. North end: half hipped and formerly jettied; brick infill below jetty bressumer with 2 casements and off-centre C20 glazed door, all with timber lintels; large framing above with small-panel attic casement; straight bracing. West side: large framing with large curved brace at left end; scattered framed-up casements; 2 thatched dormers with small-paned casements; C19 brick single-storey service room at right end with single casement. South end: projecting gabled end of single-storey service room with pantile roof; roughcast gable end with ridge-mounted brick chimney; single C20 attic casement. Interior contains 2 intermediate cruck-framed bays and much surviving wattle and daub; brick arched bread oven in south gable end.
