Formerly farmhouse, now detached house. Late C17. Coursed rubble limestone; rebuilt rubble chimneys; stone slate roof. Two-storey with attic; lean-to addition to rear. Lean-to at north end is not of special interest. Front: 3 gables, 3-window fenestration, all chamfered mullioned casements with hoodmoulds, 3-light to ground and upper floor, 2-light to attic. Small oval windows high in gables with lozenge decoration. Central C19 doorway with flanking single lights under linking stepped hoodmould; plank door with strap hinges. North end: gable end with off-centre single-light casement to upper floor and attic, both with hoodmoulds. South end: gable end with single-window fenestration as to front. Rear: gable to left with single-window fenestration as to front. Lean-to addition to right is terminated at centre of elevation with hipped roof; single 2-light casement to each floor to left. Timber casements to lean-to. Gable to right with off-centre projecting chimney having rebuilt top. Interior not inspected. A good example of a late C17 house. (N.M.
