HAWKSHEAD SD 39 NE 6/113 Old School House 25.3.70 II

House. Early C19 with later alterations. Roughcast with slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays, the 4th bay wider than others, an extension or converted stable. Windows are sashed with glazing bars, those to 4th bay have tripartite sashes. Entrance to 3rd bay has porch with entablature and segmental pediment, 2 inset Tuscan columns; half-glazed door. Cross-axial stack and gable-end stacks. Rear has wing with casement windows.
