Description


RAMSGATE FOAD'S LANE TR 36 SW (east side) 2/114 No. 53 and 55 Cottage pair. Dated 1737. Painted brick and plain tiled roof. One storey and attic with kneelered parapet gables and stacks to rear left and to rear right and with 2 hipped dormers. Wooden casements to left and to right in deeply recessed reveals with segmental cornice over, with glazing bar sashes to centre left and to centre right. Panelled door to left in lean-to porch and boarded to right in lean-to porch. The date is on C20 name plate, and may be later than actual date of construction.
