Farmhouse, now 2 houses. Mid C18 with later alterations and additions. Orange and yellow brick in English bond. Pantile and concrete tile roof. Double-depth plan: 2-room, central entrance-hall east front with slightly- projecting staircase outshut to rear, and narrow adjoining outshut to rear left; later C18-early C19 wing to left, small mid C19 canted addition to right. 2 storeys with attic, 3 bays; symmetrical. Entrance has panelled door (boarded over at time of resurvey) in reveal and architrave beneath stucco flat arch. 16-pane sash to right; sash to left with 8-panes to lower half, 2-panes to upper half; both windows in flush wooden architraves with sills beneath stucco flat arches. 16-pane first-floor sashes in similar surrounds to ground floor. Moulded wooden eaves board to right 2 bays; altered eaves to left. Stone-coped gables with shaped kneelers. C20 rebuilt end stacks. Concrete tiles to left bay, pantiles to 2 right bays. Right return: projecting ground-floor canted brick bay to right has 12-pane sliding sash with sill beneath stucco flat arch and hipped roof. Door to first floor (boarded over at time of resurvey) beneath segmental arch, with small ashlar block to left: no inscription visible. Rear has round-headed stair window with margin lights, first-floor 12-pane sliding sash to left, 16-pane sliding sash to right. Interior. Ground-floor front rooms have chamfered spine beams, pilastered marble chimney-piece to ground floor left. Reputed to contain good main staircase. Not fully inspected. Empty and unoccupied at time of resurvey (April 1987).
