BARLOW'S ROAD 1. 5104 Harborne B15 No 3 (Metchley Cottage) (formerly listed under Edgbaston) SP 08 SW 11/2 25.8.76 II 2. Early C19. Altered. Two storeys; 4 bays. Painted brick; tiled roof. Ground floor with a segment-headed window, a broad canted bay window with its own tiled roof reaching up into the first floor and a panelled door with intersecting tracery in the fanlight and within a bargeboarded and tiled porch. First floor with 4 casements with flat heads. Right-hand return of 3 bays with windows with moulded surrounds and a central door to garden within a simple porch. First floor with 2 casement windows and a central blank window.
