House, early-to-mid C17th, enlarged and altered. Rendered brick with slate roof. 2 storeys. West facade has 2-bay addition at left having windows with plain reveals. Original 2-cell house has central narrow stair outshut in position of original entrance. To its left is one bay having windows with plain reveals. To its right the wall is blank. Door in right-hand return wall of outshut. Chimneys in line with outshut and on north gable of extension. At the east side of the house 2 wings project. The northern one appears to be C19th, the southern one probably original. Between them on the ground floor is a lean-to, partly open. On the 1st floor are 2 windows with plain reveals and segmental heads, the right-hand one sashed with glazing bars. The southern wing has a door with plain reveals in its east gable. Inside, the middle room has a chamfered axial beam with shield stops, and a chamfered and stopped bressumer to a hearth which is lined with modern bricks. The north wall of this room, formerly the gable, has 2 blocked mullioned windows,of plastered brick, both formerly of 6 lights, the western one now cut through by a door.
