A C15 to C16 timber-framed house, largely refronted with red brick on the ground floor and tiles above but with some timbering visible at the north end. Tiled roof, two small gables with moulded bressumers. Three modern casement windows. Doorcase in moulded architrave surround with projecting cornice over. Door of six-fielded panels, the top two panels cut away and glazed.
Bybrook Tavern and the barn to west of Bybrook Tavern form a group.
