TF 00 NE UFFINGTON MAIN STREET (south side) 9/246 Garden Lodge Cottage

G.V. II Former house reduced to cottage. Late Cl7 with C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins, red brick gable, Collyweston slate roof and 2 yellow brick gable stacks. 2 storey, 2 bay front having blocked off centre door, with to right a single and a 2 light glazing bar casement with to first floor 2 similar 2 light windows. All windows have segmental stone arched heads. To the right gable can be seen blocked doorways to ground and first floor, to vanished rooms. To the left a single storey 2 bay service wing with slate roof having 2 two light casements under timber lintels. Included for group value only.
