YALDING TQ 74 NW Collier Street 4/76 The Nortons GV II

House. C17 or early C18, with later alterations and additions. Timber framed. Left side of ground floor red and grey brick in English bond, with left end post and post to left of porch exposed. Red and grey brick in Flemish bond to right of porch. First floor tile-hung. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys, on brick plinth. Shallow-pitched hipped roof. Multiple red and grey brick stack to left of centre. Irregular fenestration of 4 casements; one two-light to left and another under stack, and two three-light casements to right. Ribbed door in small gabled red brick porch under stack. Later rear return wing to left with red and grey brick ground floor, tile-hung first floor and plain tile roof hipped to rear. Central rear wing adjoining left wing, in similar materials, with same eaves line, and with similar roof. Interior not inspected.
