Description


PARISH OF ECKINGTON RENISHAW PARK SK 4378 12/109 The Gothick Temple 31.1.67 (formerly listed as the Aviary) GV II Ruin, formerly aviary. Early C19 by Joseph Badger of Sheffield. An eight sided, one storey ashlar sandstone structure, with open gothic arches, and a roof, now with a Venetian well head installed by Sir George Sitwell, and memorials to the family dogs. This building is now in a ruinous state.
