TAYNTON SP2313 10/157 No.38 12/09/55 (Formerly listed as Premises 20 yds NE of Taynton House) GV II House, formerly shop and dwelling. Mid C18, with probably late C18 addition to right. C20 alterations. Coursed squared stone; stone slate roof; stone stacks. 2-storey, 3-window main range with 2-storey, 2-window addition to right. C20 glazed door to centre of main range with open-pediment. Stone hood on shaped stone brackets, having painted inscription under hood which reads "William Clark, Dealer in Tea, Coffee, Tobacco and Snuff". 2-light stone mullion windows to ground and first floors to left and right of main range. Single-light window to first floor centre of main range. C20 door to left of addition at right. Irregular fenestration of C20 casements with wood lintels. Interior: C20 alteration.
