2. Late C16 timber-frame house. Roughcast and brick faced. Black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. Brick dentil eaves. Front refashioned in C18 or early Cl9. Two storeys. Five bays. Sashes with glazing bars, ground floor right modern multipane window in place of shop window. Right of centre moulded doorcase with pediment on console brackets, fielded panel reveals and fielded panel door. External brick chimney stack at west end. Interior: stop chamfered ceiling beams and fire place bressumer. Two four-centred arch doorways inside and to left of entrance.
