2. C17 of coursed rubble stone and long and short dressed stone quoins of two builds with a stone tiled roof to the NE, machine tiled to the SW, gabled at the NW end and half hipped to the NE. NW end stack and brick ridge stack. Originally two 3 bay ranges, now a 2 storey, 6 window SW range with 3 stone diamonds inset in NW section. The fenestration of this SW front has been completely altered since the building appeared on the previous list. The upper openings, apart from a loft door, were originally C17 4 light mullioned and transomed windows, but they have recently been replaced by modern 2 light top lit wood casements. A large double 2 light window to the left of the modern door now replaces an 8 light C19 mullioned and transomed window and a plank door with rectangular fanlight. Also gone is a tall 3 light casement replaced by a modern 2 light top lit casement. Despite these alterations the buillding retains sufficient character to be worthy of listing in such a prominent site in the village centre.
