House. Mid/late C17. Timber framed walls rendered over. Front in imitation stone ashlar; C20 tile roof; brick stack. L-plan, 2-unit lobby-entry to front. 2 storeys; 2-window range. Central C18 plank door in C18 beaded architrave. Mid C20 ground-floor casements; late C19 first-floor casements. Gabled roof; ridge stack. To rear left is similar 2-bay wing adjoining stair turret and outshut. Interior: Exposed timber-framing throughout. Chamfered beams and original joists throughout; chamfered bressumers to fireplaces in central stack. Winder stairs in stair-turret to rear of stack. First floor has C17 ribbed doors, timber-framed trusses obscured by inserted ceiling; original spice cupboard with butterfly hinges next to right fireplace.
