House, dated 1838 with initials J.C. on pediment. Front squared sandstone, side and rear elevations rubble with tooled and margined quoins and dressings. Hipped slate roof with twin central stacks. 2 storeys, 3 windows. Central door with modern French window, altered sash windows. Rear elevation has modern ground floor window and single-storey outshut, central stair window and 2 1st floor 16-pane sash windows.
Included mainly for group value with farmbuildings.
