House, now bank. Probably late C16, altered; bank conversion alterations mid C20 and later. Timber-framed with pebble-dashed infill; some C20 rubblestone. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys with attic. C20 ground floor has timber framing on stone plinth with a 5-light, small-pane, mullion and transom window to left, door on right with small-pane, 2-light overlight, and a similar window to its left; also C20 are the corbels and bressummer of the cross-wing 1st floor jetty. 1st floor: close-studded timber framing with decorative arch braces. Cross-wing has old canted bay window on brackets with 3 leaded lights at front, that in centre with old iron casement; attic has old 2-light leaded window, the left light narrower and with casement; decorative fretted bargeboards and pendant finial to gable. Right bay has C20 2-light leaded casement to 1st floor and old gabled dormer with diamond leading to attic. End stacks with diagonally-set flues, 4 to left stack, 2 to right stack. Rear: extensive additions, mostly late C20, not of special interest. Interior: very little of the old building is visible apart from at the right-hand side in the attic where wall posts, one arched tension brace and a queen-post truss are in evidence; closed-string stair between 1st floor and attic with diamond-section balusters.
