WALLINGTON DEMESNE CAMBO NZ 0285 18/166 Gate piers and gate to churchyard with adjacent walls CV II Gate piers, gate and churchyard walls, c.1880. Piers ashlar; walls of squared tooled stone; gates and overthrow wrought-iron. Square piers with chamfered caps hold gates with lanceolate standards; ogival overthrow with fleur-de-lys terminal. Flanking walls have arched coping; wall to left terminates in pier with chamfered cap. At right of pier, head of cross slab of c.1200 built into wall. Wall to right of gate turns eastward alongside lane; low segmental arch at foot of wall, small gate with arched monolith piers; end of wall ramped up and stepped forward.
