2. C17 or earlier house. Sandstone ashlar. Tiled roof with gabled ends. Brick eaves course and brick end gables. Two storeys and attic. Long 4 window range. Three first floor windows on south front and north (rear) in double chamfered rectangular openings. Remainder have plain openings. All modern metal frame casements. Attic to doors at eaves level with flat roof. Modern porch on north (rear). Modern brick ridge stacks. Datestone at rear "Anno: 1655 Sr R.L" (Sir Richard Leveson) with another stone below with carved coat of arms. Small C19 brick one-storey and attic extension on east end.
