2. Mid C19 almshouse type reflected terrace. 2 storeys red brick with stone rustic quoins and stone dressing (quoined) with inner roll moulding. Each house has a 2 light and 2 single light casement windows on 1st floor, shaped and pointed head to ground floor windows. Nos 54 and 56 retain small pane glazing; doorways have chamfered heads, Nos 54 and 56 flanking through passage door, all except No 54A with beaded, ledged doors. Tiled roof with fishscale bands and 4 brick ridge chimneys, 2 with stout moulded capping. Dwarf brick wall to road with stone capping returned at right and to form centre path, left hand wall has brick capping.
