Former vicarage. Late C17/early C18 with mid C18 facade; C18/C19 left range has late C20) alterations; mid C19 cross-wing on right. Flemish bond brick with rendered plinth, moulded string course and alternating rusticated quoins, and painted moulded flood cornice with paired aodillions. Old plain-tile roofs; brick end stacks. Central staircase plan. Mid-Georgian style. 2 storeys; 5-window range, with lower 2-bay left range. Symmetrical front has 6-panelled door in moulded rendered doorcase with keyblock, and early C19 painted wood porch of slender columns with glazed trellis-work top and fiat roof, and glazed sides. Sashes have gauged brick flat arches with painted keystones, on ground floor abutting the string course. Left range has late C20 casements, with brick segmental arches, to ground floor. Half-hipped roof. Lean-to addition across return side. Addition to right has cross gable and blank wall. Rear has slightly-recessed centre. Late C20 half-glazed door, window to right and staircase window. Left bay has C19 four-pane sash, and 8-pane sash above. Right bay has 18-pane sashes with thick glazing bars; Openings have brick segmental arches throughout. Cross-wing on left has large canted bay with 4-pane sashes and moulded entablature; 16-pane, sash above. Irregular range to right. Interior: quarter-turn staircase has turned balusters, square newel posts and moulded drops. 6-panelled doors and some moulded cornices. Buildings of England: Warwickshire: p80.
