Terrace of 10 villas. 1838-47. By S Bone. Stucco with plinths and plat bands; dry Delabole slate roofs, except Nos 4 & 5 where replaced with asbestos slate, with hipped projecting bays to front; moulded cornices under deep eaves soffits; stuccoed axial stacks; most with cast-iron ogee gutters; Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; overall 30-window range. Each house has projecting bay on its left and central entrance in the angle except No.1 (right-hand return) which has projecting central bay with entrance; most with later bay window on their right, otherwise mostly original sashes with glazing bars, some with margin panes; original ground floor windows within recessed segmental-arched panels; No.2 has late C19 four-light transomed bay on its right with dentilled cornice and porch with turned columns; most with panelled doors. Nos 3, 5, 6 & 7 with original box porches with round-headed doorways with pilasters and eaves on paired brackets; No.10 has early C20 porch. INTERIORS not inspected but likely to be of interest.
